Republic of Srpska participated in the work of the Enterprise Europe Network SAG 2016

The Agency for development of small and medium-sized enterprises of the Republic of Srpska was invited to contribute to the strategic developments and operational issues in the Steering and Advisory Group (SAG) of the Enterpise Europe Network (EEN). The two days meeting was held in Brussels from 21st to 22nd April 2016.

This EEN SAG was opportunity for the Republic of Srpska to strength partnership opportunities and to discuss with representatives from other states about future cooperation in several European Commission projects such as COSME and HORIZONS 2020. Besides many high officials from EU and non-EU countries, many European Commission's officials attended 2016 SAG and presented suggestions and initiatives for potential collaboration through the network. The welcome note was given by the Mr. Giacomo Mattino, Head of Unit H2, DG GROW, who also chaired SAG Bureau.

The Republic of Srpska representative used this opportunity to express its concerns related to the new COSME 2017-2018 cooperation framework with Bosnia and Herzegovina which has not been signed yet, besides the fact that the European Commission proposed several dates for it. High officials from DG GROW, DG REGIO and EASME were informed about those internal obstacles at the BiH level.

Next EEN occasion for the Agency for development of small and medium-sized enterprises of the Republic of Srpska to present our SME's and to search for potential partners will be in Moscow, during B2B meeting in Moscow, Russia.
