RS Representative at The 9th ARLEM Commission meeting
The Republic of Srpska Representative from Brussels took part in the 9th Plenary Assembly of the Euro Mediterranean Regional and Local Assembly (ARLEM)
The ninth meeting of the Commission for Sustainable Territorial Development of the Euro-Mediterranean Regional and Local Assembly took place on Tuesday, 25 April 2023 in the Eden Ballroom of the Marriott Hotel in Rabat, Morocco, at the invitation of Abdelaziz Derouiche, President of the Moroccan Association of Presidents of the Councils of Prefectures and Provinces (AMPCPP) and President of the Prefectural Council of Rabat (Morocco).
In addition, The ARLEM Commission meeting was an great opportunity for ARLEM Members to discuss two thematic draft reports.
The first, drafted by the host Abdelaziz Derouiche, related to urban health and sustainable mobility.
The second, drafted by André Viola (PES/FR), member of the Departmental Council of Aude in France, related to civil protection.
ARLEM brings together representatives of local and regional government in the EU – most of them members of the European Committee of the Regions – and their counterparts from Mediterranean states from the western Balkans, the Middle East and North Africa.
