ARLEM: Republic of Srpska attended the 4th meeting of the Commission for Sustainable Territorial Dev
The Commission for Sustainable Territorial Development of ARLEM held its 4th meeting in Brussels on 11 October 2018.
The main purpose of the meeting was to discuss two thematic reports, namely the report on youth entrepreneurship in the Mediterranean (rapporteur Mr Domenico Gambacorta) and the report on governance and transparency in the Mediterranean region (rapporteur Mr Lütfü Savas).
Republic of Srpska Representation in Brussels took an active participation during the meeting suggesting possible initiatives and reforms to international organisations and central governments, with a view to strengthening existing programmes in fields such as vocational training, territorial cohesion and financial support to businesses.
ARLEM brings together representatives of local and regional government in the EU – most of them members of the European Committee of the Regions – and their counterparts from Mediterranean states from the western Balkans, the Middle East and North Africa.
